Process documentation

Amidst the regular activities, we come across very encouraging achievements in diverse fields of development, by other organisations. We have always been very keen, and felt the urge to write documents, to highlight and focus on their activities. The central idea behind this venture is so that the document reaches out to as many people as possible and people become aware of myriad social issues.

One ICDS centre at Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh

In the past we have prepared such documents. A pilot programme was undertaken in November'99 by World Food Programme (WFP) to strengthen the pre-school component of ICDS in collaboration with UNESCO and Govt. of Madhya Pradesh in about 430 ICDS centres in the three blocks of Dhar district. We have documented this entire process which was published by WFP in the form of a booklet. We have also prepared a document on the experimental work at READ in West Champaran, Bihar. READ (Rural Education and Development) is a charitable non-profit organisation, involved in the education and integral development of the people of West Champaran. It has been active in this area for the past two decades.

While working on these we were exposed to many new arenas. The experiences we gathered were very insightful and enriching. We look forward to know more of such organisations and document it as effectively as we can.
