It is a new
concept offered by us. The trainees are of the age group 12-13
years. Our aim is to expose them to a wide range of vocations
such as mime, art & craft, banner writing, carpentry, tailoring,
clay modeling, etc. and identify their individual aptitudes. Another
aim of the pre-vocational training is to integrate the world of
work and the world of knowledge. We had a fear that these children
might get divorced from their roots after going through the highly
enriched curriculum offered at Titli.
Being part of the St. Xavier's milieu, Titli
enjoys a high profile existence including a great deal of media
attention. We feel that this special course in pre-vocational
education would be able to inoculate proper values in them about
various vocations which are closer to their own lives. [link
