Titli : child to child education programme for slum children

Art & Craft Session at Titli

The Titli School has been running since 1996 in the St. Xavier's Collegiate school with our assistance. It is a child to child programme where the senior boys of this elite institution participate in the process of educating 120 underprivileged children within the age group of 4-14 years, of which 10-15% is promoted to mainstream formal schools including St. Xavier's School. Pre vocational training is carried out for children between 12-13 years through which they learn various skills such as tailoring, art and craft, banner writing, carpentry and clay modeling.
